In this task I will be drawing up ideas for my magazine front covers and context pages I will then gain feedback from my peers and this will help me decide what one I will develop into my final product.
This was my first idea for my issue one of my magazine about coronavirus. When getting feedback from peers they suggested that a person should be on the front cover to show the affects of the virus and not just a change that has happened. E.g. wearing a mask in public.
This was my second draft idea for my magazine. This one took into consideration their feedback and included a person. However with the dream bubble above her head it seemed a bit too childish and not something you would see on a current affairs magazine.
This was my first draft for my second issue which is around the topic of mens mental health. When shown to my peers they said that the eye with a tear drop was good but it doesn't show that it is definitely a man. This feedback showed me i needed to make it clearer it was a man and have a picture with more of their face in it.
This was my second draft and this time it included the feedback and had a man clearly in it with a tear down his face. However due to it saying unspoken depression peers suggested that having the whole face feels like it is spoken about a lot and that it is not shut away. Therefore it didn't
go with the idea that I had.
This was the final design I made and the one I am going to be using. This one has half the mans face and shows how sometimes men hide their emotions more than women. The exclamation mark shows how it needs to be spoken of more and with bring attention to it.
Editing of magazine covers
This is what my images originally looked liked before I edited them , this is what they looked like after.
